By means of hole alignment and pin locking, all parts can be connected, fixed and clamped. The distance between parts can be adjusted according the sizes of workpiece. Since this whole fixture combines a set of parts in a three dimensional way to have best performance in welding process, therefore it is named 3D flexibly combined welding fixture. It can be classified into two groups: D28 series with ¢ 28mm hole and 100*100mm groove lines; D16 series with ¢ 16mm hole and 50*50mm groove lines.

Any workpiece can be fixed and clamped on the 3D welding table with locating pins. 3D welding tables can link together against any of its five surfaces. Depending on the unitized models, the welding table can be used in fixing, adjusting and clamping workpieces.

In the process of assembling or welding, almost all workpieces can be fixed precisely at certain points or surfaces with locating piece, adapting piece, fastening piece and supporting piece, except quite few workpieces. The imprecise dimensions of workpiece can easily be detected and then be adjusted during preliminary working process.
